Juventus have offered Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea in a bid to sweeten a potential deal for Alvaro Morata, according to reports.
The Serie A champions want to re-sign Morata this summer and have already opened transfer talks with Chelsea.
Chelsea may be convinced to sell if they can use the funds to buy another elite striker, while Juventus think it is time to move Higuain on.
Juventus paid £75.3milion for Higuain in the summer of 2016 after the former Real Madrid star enjoyed a record-breaking season at Napoli.
Higuain has helped Juventus win back-to-back league titles, but the Evening Standard claim the Italians have made contact with Chelsea over a swap deal.
Juventus worry Higuain is about to start declining after 23 goals in 50 appearances last season.
