Oluwo of Iwo leads special prayer session for President Buhari, Aregbesola

The Oluwo of Iwo kingdom, Osun State, HRM Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu 1 has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is in London, United Kingdom on medical vacation.

The first class monarch said it has become imperative at this time in Nigeria to call for an intercessory prayer over the health of the President and pleads for God’s guidance over the affairs and governance of both Nigeria and the State of Osun.

As a form of leading by example, Oba Akanbi will be holding a special prayer session for the President and Osun State Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

The Special prayer session, which will also put into consideration other national leaders and traditional rulers, has been scheduled to hold at the Palace of the Oluwo by 10 a.m on Thursday 24 August, 2017.

The monarch, while inviting the general public, especially sons and daughters of towns under Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa local government areas, said buses would be made available at different parts of Osun State to convey interested individuals to the Palace for the prayer.
